I have now installed an extension to limit time on various websites. Hope this keeps me on track a bit better.

So. I had no idea about this app until I went into my doctor and he told me about it.

LISTEN UP. THIS APP. THIS SHIT RIGHT HERE IS SERIOUSLY A BLESSING. ESPECIALLY TO ANYONE WITH FINANCIAL PROBLEMS (which is kind of everyone now). THIS IS NOT INSURANCE THOUGH. BUT IT WILL HELP YOU OUT. DOWNLOAD THIS APP RIGHT NOW. NO. STOP READING. DOWNLOAD IT

This app allows you to input the prescription you have, select your dose, and then find a place near you (or your own pharmacy) with the cheapest price. Then you click “get code/coupon/discount card,” show that to the pharmacist, and THERE YOU GO. SAVING YOU SOME CASH TO GET YOURSELF A WELL DESERVED DRINK, CANDY BAR, DATE MONEY, SEX TOY CASH, OR GO BUY YOURSELF A HAMSTER AND NAME HIM STARLORD WITH THE EXTRA MONEY

No, but in all seriousness. This app is saving my ass right now.

I’m Trans* and have Fibromyalgia, and this is really making a difference already. I hope this helps out other people. We all know it fucking sucks to have to pay this much for the medication we need to function in life.

this really helped me out when i didn’t have insurance. like, being able to spend only $8 on meds that normally would’ve cost me $100+ is incredible.

autistictheon said: thers' a short story in the canon of the 1982 thing (called "the things" iirc) written from the thing's pov and its reaction to the humans is the same level of sheer visceral shocked disgusted horror that the humans react to it with. It was written by a third party for a writing contest and john carpenter liked it so much he made it canon

bogleech:

Oh yes. You would think a story from the Thing’s perspective and explaining almost everything about it would just demystify the whole movie and take away some of the horror, but THE THINGS is absolutely terrifying and enhances the movie for me. I had no idea Carpenter decided it should be canon, that’s wonderful.

Reblogged this before, but since I mentioned that they do good work, here’s an example.

A son went into a rarely-used bedroom in his mother’s home and discovered thousands of wasps had made a giant nest in a bed. An estimated 5,000 wasps had created a nest by chewing through bedding, including a blanket and pillow. Pest-control expert John Birkett was called to tackle with the mound of wasps inside the mattress at the five-bedroom home in Winchester, Hampshire.
